October 2025 Gonaives Visit
In October 2025, Dr. Smith visited Haiti, where he was recognized for his 40 years of service. The Poteaux church honored him during a day of celebration of the 40 years of existence of the church. Several hundred people came from to celebrate this milestone and the renovation of the building.
While he was there, Dr. Smith saw the store room cleanup, which was no small task! Thanks to those who participated and who help to keep HCDP organized.
During his trip, Dr. Smith met with many of our friends in Haiti, including Pacius, Valery, Girve, and Olina (who is on the HCDP medical team).
